A nature trail has been established at Ocean Reef. Residents and visitors may take a self-guided tour through lushly landscaped areas learning about the native vegetation. Nature signs were installed in 1994 in order to teach the public about the importance of mangroves, manatees, the coral reef and other environmental subjects. David personally laid out most of the walking trails throughout the community.
